Description

Comprehensive Youth Ministry – Walking with Young Missionary Disciples

Youth are making big decisions about their life, their priorities, and their relationships. This is the moment to help them choose Christ as the center of their commitments. The disciple’s journey travels from encounter, to relationships, through formation to mission. Comprehensive Youth Ministry is all about empowering a parish community to inspire, engage and support young disciples. This workshop will explore the vision and practice of ministry with youth. New thinking in youth ministry is combining with new research about the practices that really make a difference in forming faith in adolescents that lasts for their lifetime. Join us as we explore the trends, the dreams, the research and the practical starting points in an emerging and evolving vision for youth ministry. Together, we will explore practical, effective ways to help youth live and love their Catholic faith, and grow in their friendship with Christ.
